A little note from a friend of mine, that he composed. I am impressed and moved by it:

"Life is a fickle thing. For those of you out there who look to faith, I commend you on your courage, for those who turn to others, i commend you on your desire for help, for those who look in themselves, i commend you on having a heart. For those of you who have all three, I am proud of you, because in essence, you've just become Humane. There are those out there today that no longer have these feelings, and for those few people that do, let's show them what it is to be Humane, and to show them that the human capacity for compassion shall overcome anything.
